Our Two-Year-Old program emphasizes self-help skills, adjusting to a classroom routine, learning to play with others, and learning to be confident at school.
The Three-Year-Old program focuses on self-help skills, playing and communicating with peers, dramatic play, exploration, and art projects.
Meeting House is an approved MMSD 4K community site!
Our 4K program focuses on language arts and literacy, science and math, fine motor abilities like writing, social skills, and transitioning to five-year-old kindergarten.
Come play outside with us this summer! Kids will enjoy games, dramatic arts, and nature study.

Meeting House Nursery School has been providing an enriching, play-based preschool program since 1949. As we celebrate 75 years, Meeting House Nursery School is the oldest part-time, play-based learning nursery school in Madison.
Learn more about our historyMeeting House Nursery School, Inc. leases the west wing of the First Unitarian Church located at 900 University Bay Drive. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, who is noted for his prairie style homes and organic architecture, the church is a national landmark visited by architects, students, and tourists from around the world. The nursery school wing, added in 1963, was designed by the Taliesin Foundation to meet the special needs of the nursery and church school programs.
